"I've been with the UTEP Marching Miners for 2 years now playing bass, going on my third this upcoming semester. The Marching Miners have been surprisingly fun, I've never realise how much fun it could be after highschool. Meeting new people and combining all of our skill sets to produce a new sound! But I also do forget sometimes "with great fun comes greater work", I've learned so much from our percussion staff these past few years: Different technique, new rhythms, and different ways to approach music all together. I believe my experience at the UTEP Marching Miners as been all around amazing!
